Why Speed comes first
The Roblox description tells you to train Speed on the Aqua Treadmill, then reach deeper seas with rarer eggs. It also says farther water means bigger Guardians and better rewards. Speed is the stat that decides whether a deeper trip is a run or a loss.
No public price list, Speed-per-upgrade table, or area gate number is available. Do not copy Speed requirements from other egg games.
How to train
- Use the Aqua Treadmill in the starting area before you travel for a trophy egg.
- Spend early cash on Speed. Base expansion adds egg space, which matters after you can finish trips.
- Test the new Speed with an empty swim to the next nest and back. If that lap already feels tight, you are not ready to carry an egg from there.
- After a successful carry, put the cash back into the treadmill and repeat the test one area farther.
- Save your strongest comfortable Speed for Volcano Area 9. That sea adds lava as well as Volcano Kong.
When to stop spending on Speed
Stop pushing the treadmill for a moment only when ordinary returns are clean and you still have a reason to buy base space for eggs you are actually hatching. If returns are failing, Speed is still the bottleneck.
What you should see
Deeper water takes less time, Guardian chases start with more room, and you finish more hatches per session. The game does not publish a target Speed number for that feeling.
