What the game tells you to hunt
The listing names four kinds of finds, without a catalog of proper names:
| Find | What is confirmed | What is not confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Everyday nest eggs | Nests exist and early water is where you learn the carry | No official rarity name or hatch time |
| Rare sizes | You are told to hunt rare sizes | No size names or stat bonuses |
| Mutations | Mutations are a hunt target | No mutation names or multipliers |
| Legendary finds | Legendary finds are called out separately from sizes and mutations | No legendary pet roster |
| Fiery eggs | Added with Volcano Area 9 in the lava-red sea | No separate income number |
Hatching happens at home. An egg left in the water does not join the collection.
How to choose a target
Use the route, not a guessed tier letter.
- Learn on ordinary nests close to base.
- When those returns are reliable, look for a rare size or a mutation on a route you already know.
- Treat legendary finds as carries you only start after deep-water returns are calm.
- Treat fiery eggs as Area 9 extracts: one egg, lava-aware path, Volcano Kong behind you, then home.
A community A-to-S chart that ranks "Large", "Mutated", and "Legendary" as if those were tested power tiers is an editorial label. It is not an official stat table, and this site does not repeat it as one.
Collection habits
Repeat a mastered nest if you are hunting mutations and sizes. The listing frames those as things you hunt, which fits returning to water you can leave. Moving to a new sea before the old return is safe trades a possible mutation for a lost egg.
